Product Review

This frame is the synthesis of the most advanced technologies. It is an extremely stiff product, nevertheless it is very comfortable.

Anthrax is a frame aimed towards mtb "big wheel" racing. It is entirely made with mono-coque technology, using two different types of carbon fiber: the unidirectional (UD) and the high modulus 3K fibers.

The frame presents shaped tubes with light oval to semi square shapes which give a big aesthetic impact and help reducing vibrations transmitted from the wheels. The horizontal tube (Top Tube) is characterized by it's low height and wide top following it's way into the seat stays in a very harmonious way. This shape will ensure a smooth ride and filter away the bumps and spread the forces all the way through the frame. The down tube is characterized by a small curve that damps forces applied to the frame and spreads them better on its length and this also clears the frame from touching the front forks. The tunnel shaped downside of the Top Tube further ensures the stability of the frame while also providing a clean view from the sides because the cables for the front and rear derailleur stay hidden.
Every Ratio component won’t be disconnected from the others: they are all part of a whole and, together, they work better.
